New stuff for securing a terminal June 19, 2007

They say this thing is for keeping kids safe. But I say it’s basically hardware that protects your investment too. You’ve got a workstation on your desk. Wanna keep prying eyes of coworkers/bosses/garden gnomes out of your stuff? Install this bad boy and you’re good to go. Of course if you’re using a corporate machine, it’d probably be best to get the IT department’s ok first, but I’m sure they’d go for it seeing as how you’re being so proactive to enhance security in the workplace and at home.

Basically, this thing is like having car keys for your computer. Kids are smart these days. Smarter than me anyway, this is a surefire way to get the curtain climbers outside and playing in the street yard. I’d love to have one of these things just to be able to protect my personal data from prying eyes.

As you were.
